2 . Add text description (1) Use the horizontal text tool in the toolbox to enter text layers for “ingredients: mung bean. ......”, “production date...”. Text effects can be seen in Figure 13-38.

3 . Make a barcode (1) Start CorelDRAW 12 software.
(2) Execute the menu "Edit" → "Insert bar code" command, select "EAN-13" in the "Industry Standard Format" in the pop-up "Bar Wizard" dialog box, enter the bar code number provided by the customer and click [Down] One step] button, select the default option, click [Next] button again, still keep the default option, click [Finish] button, as shown in Figure 13-39.

Figure 13-39 Set Bar Code (3) Execute Ctrl+C [Copy] command to copy the barcode and switch to the current file of Photoshop CS software.
(4) Execute the Ctrl+V [Paste] command to paste the bar code into the “Barcode” layer in the “Backside Jumping Beans” file. The bar code size can be adjusted according to the actual situation of the layout. The effect is shown in Figure 13-40.

Figure 13-40 Paste the barcode (5) Click the [File]→[Open] command to open the [Material] → [Chapter 13] → [Keep Clean] PSD file in the CD-ROM of this book. Next, use the tool in the Toolbox to drag the "Keep Clean. Psd" and "Mark" layers to the current file on the "Back of the Jumping Bean," and use Ctrl+T [Free Transform Tool] to adjust the file size. The adjustment result is shown in Figure 13-41.

13.2.4 Printing Plate

The packaging adopts cylinder-circular gravure printing, and the process flow is roughly: unwinding of the printed substrate→tension control→first color printing→drying→overprint second color→drying→overprint third color→drying→overprint fourth Color → Dry → Traction → Winding. If printed on the front, the printing order of the colors is white ink→magenta ink→yellow ink→cyan ink→black ink→gold and silver ink; if the reverse side is printed, the printing sequence is just opposite to the frontal printing.

Gravure printing plates can be divided into hand-carved and computer-engraved plates. The food packaging in this chapter uses computer engraving, and the gantry can be coated with a rubber plate. After four steps of photosensitivity, transfer, etching, and chrome plating, a printing plate is produced.

After the product packaging design is completed, the next step is the last part of computer production - prepress production. Can be divided into design and production of film film.

1 . The preparation of the manuscript will be completed on the "jumping beans front" and "jumping beans back" file respectively layered layer, and saved as "jumping bean positive.tif" and "jumping beans back.tif" two files , prepare for the next imposition file.

2 . Imposition output film (1) Start CorelDRAW 12 software (2) Create a new file, execute the Ctrl + I [Import] command, import the "jump beans front. Tif" and "jump beans back. Tif" file to the current page.
(3) Execute the [Arrange] → [Alignment and Distribution] → [Top Alignment] command in the menu box, and align the “Bounce Bean Front Side .tif” and “Bound Bean Back Side. tif” side by side.
(4) Click the [Hand-painted tool] button on the tool bar to draw a 3mm-long corner line (commonly known as the bleeding point) at the top and bottom of the package corner 3mm, as shown in Figure 13-42.

Figure 13-42 Completing the Overprint Corner Line (5) Execute the Ctrl+S [Storage] command to save the file as the "CDR format" CDR format. Finally, just send the electronic document to the output company and export the film.
