If you want to use a printer to generate a special format, such as creating an A3 or B4 format, you need to use the page setup function to select a good paper size before the official printing, but in the "File/" Page Setup"/" On the “Paper” tab page, when clicking the “Paper Size” pull-down menu, no special paper type such as A3 or B4 can be found. Instead, only ordinary A4 or B5 paper types are available for selection. How can we select the desired paper type? Everyone can follow the steps below to achieve:

1. You can do this by adding a virtual printer in the "Add Printer" window. Since not all printers support the same paper type, some special paper types rely on everyone to install more "virtual printers" in the computer at the same time.

2, if you want to output A3 format, you can install a virtual "hp LaserJet 2000" printer to achieve, once you install the virtual printer, you can find the A3 paper type in the page settings "paper size";

4, then we can perform the "file / print" command in order to open the print settings dialog box, and in the settings box select the virtual printer icon to support the desired print format;

5. In the following, we click the close button in the printer setup dialog box directly with the mouse; then use the mouse to execute the “file/page setup” command in sequence. In the subsequent page setup dialog box, open the “paper type” tab page. And select the type of paper to be printed in the "Paper size" setting field;

6, finally click on the print preview command, we can see the document format according to the specified format.
