This time, a total of 561 batches of wood furniture (solid wood and panel furniture) produced by 378 enterprises in 10 regions including Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Zhuhai were inspected, and 63 batches were unqualified. The unqualified product discovery rate was 11.2%. The inspection items include items such as formaldehyde emission, woodworking requirements, mechanical properties, and heavy metal content. Among them, the heavy metal content is well controlled, and only one batch of products is detected to have excessive heavy metal content.
However, the phenomenon of excessive formaldehyde emission was more serious. Among the 63 batches of unqualified products, 27 batches detected formaldehyde emission exceeding the standard, accounting for 42.9% of the unqualified products, nearly half. The "Bai Lan Di Shi" bedside table, "OKMEI" makeup stool, "Ruixin" floor cabinet and other products were detected to exceed the standard formaldehyde emission.
In the regular sampling results of the 10 products, the quality control of interior wall and exterior wall coating products is better. Among the 225 batches of interior wall and exterior wall coating products produced by 164 companies in 11 regions including Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Foshan, 15 batches were unqualified, and the unqualified product discovery rate was only 6.7%. However, it is worth noting that there are still 2 batches of products that have been detected to have excessive levels of free formaldehyde.

Gas appliances (domestic gas fast water heaters, domestic gas cookers) are also among the 10 products tested this time. The quality supervision department has inspected 366 batches of gas appliance products produced by 275 enterprises in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan and other cities. The inspection failed 53 batches, and the unqualified product discovery rate was 14.5%. Unqualified items involve items such as carbon monoxide concentration, temperature rise, and flameout protection devices in the flue gas.
Among them, the domestic gas stove with the trademark “Samsung†produced by Shunwang Wei Kitchen Appliance Manufacturing Factory of Huangpu Town, Zhongshan City (model specification is “JZY-Aâ€, production date or batch number is “February 8, 2012â€) The unqualified items were found to be unqualified, and the unqualified items were heat load and signs.
