装修设计应该以家具为中心

居室装修的一个重要原则就是应以家具为中心进行设计，这样做的好处不少。

避免家具水准下降。通常人们都是把装修作为主体，将精力、物力、财力都倾注在了装修本身上，而把家具及其配饰放在最后，等装修把预算的花费基本都消耗尽了，才去匆匆选购家具，这样就会造成家具的整体水准下降。

避免风格不伦不类。装修是件不可能全面把握的事情，设计师给的效果图再好，也不能给人一个真实的形象。而家具，布艺等都是看得到，摸得着的，是可以自己把握的东西。把可以把握的确定的元素，交给设计师去完善，就可以避免购置到了喜欢的家具，但因为事先没与环境搭配，放到家中反而显得不伦不类的问题。也就是说先把自己喜欢的东西买到手，你就会生活在你想要的环境中，而不会让自己后悔。

先选家具还可以省钱。品牌家具一般都搞定期促销活动。选定好喜欢的系列后，可以让卖场的工作人员在打折时通知自己。
