The vein recognition system is based on the characteristic of hemoglobin in the blood that absorbs infrared light. A small camera with near infrared sensitivity is photographed against the finger, and the image of the shadow of the blood vessel is taken. The blood vessel pattern is digitally processed to make a blood vessel pattern image, and it is used as the basis for identification according to its structural characteristics. In the laboratory of National University of Defense Technology, the reporter saw a vein recognition machine similar to the fingerprint recognition machine. As long as the vein data was entered in advance, without fingerprint contact, the finger was placed in the air, and the safe connected to it could be opened.
According to reports, the biological target recognition security technology currently being applied mainly includes fingerprint recognition, iris identification and face recognition. But they all have defects: fingerprint recognition is easy to be copied and stolen, fingerprint features are difficult to achieve in vivo features, and the security performance is low; iris recognition image acquisition equipment is very expensive, the size of the equipment is also difficult to achieve miniaturization, and recognition The requirements for distance and eye state are strict, and it is very inconvenient to use; face recognition is easy to be attacked and deceived by face photos, face videos, etc., and it is difficult to achieve live recognition.
Finger vein recognition can avoid these shortcomings.
