The basic structure of the electronic balance is divided into several parts:
(1) Weighing pan
The weighing pan is mostly made of metal material and is installed on the balance's sensor. It has a certain geometric shape and thickness, mostly round and square. Pay attention to hygiene during use, and do not change the weighing pan at will.
(2) Analog-to-digital (A / D) converter
It has the advantages of high conversion accuracy and easy automatic zero adjustment, which can effectively eliminate interference and convert input signals into digital signals.
(3) Microcomputer
This component can be said to be the key component of the electronic balance. It is the data processing component of the electronic balance. It has functions such as memory, calculation, and table lookup.
(4) Sensor
The sensor is one of the key components, which is composed of the shell, magnetic steel, pole shoes and coils, etc., and is installed under the weighing pan. Its accuracy is very high and sensitive. The weighing chamber of the balance should be kept clean, and it should be avoided that items are scattered during weighing and affect the normal operation of the sensor.
(5) Position detector The position detector is composed of a high-sensitivity far-infrared luminous tube and a symmetrical photosensitive cell. Its role is to convert the load on the weighing pan into an electrical signal output.
(6) PID regulator
The role of PID (proportional, integral, derivative) regulator is to ensure that the sensor works quickly and steadily.
(7) Power amplifier
Its role is to amplify the weak signal to ensure the accuracy and working requirements of the balance.
(8) Low-pass filter
Its role is to eliminate the interference of high-frequency signals generated by the outside world and certain electrical components to ensure that the output of the sensor is a constant DC voltage.
(9) Display
There are basically two kinds of monitors at present: one is a digital tube display; the other is a liquid crystal display. Their function is to display the output digital signal on the display screen.
(10) Case
Its function is to protect the electronic balance from dust and other substances, and it is also the base of electronic components.
(11) Foot
The supporting part of the electronic balance is also an adjusting part of the level of the electronic balance, generally relying on the two rear adjusting feet to adjust the level of the balance.
