Wacker-Chemie, Germany Introduces Food/Beverage Prophylaxis

Wacker-Chemie, the parent company of Wacker Silicones, Germany, introduced Cavamax natural cyclodextrins added to caps or other packaging products to prevent the odor of plastic packaging from being transferred to foods and beverages. This cyclodextrin is linked by columnar glucose molecules that trap aldehyde-based organic molecules.
