Offset blankets are different from general rubber products in that they are responsible for transferring the ink on the plate to the paper. In order to make the printed ink uniform, clear dots, rich layers, offset blanket must have moderate hardness, compression deformation, good ink transfer performance and small elongation characteristics, it must have the ability to absorb ink and adsorption fountain solution in chemical properties The role of the chemical must be such that it does not react chemically with oils and medicines and is eroded by oils and medicines. Because of the lithography, the flatness of the blanket is demanding.

In an ideal situation, the blanket merely functions to transfer the image, and the change in the radius of the blanket does not affect the size of the image. In reality, however, overprinting of the blanket may cause misalignment due to deformation during imprinting. When we change blankets, we often place a flat offset paper beneath the blanket so that the blanket can make full contact with the printing plate, but it should be noted that the tightness of the blankets of the multicolor machines should be the same. When pad white paper, the pad thickness should be the same, we must reasonably configure the proportion of the roller radius, try to keep the synchronization rolling, select a small circumferential extension of the blanket, and pay attention to the direction of the blanket to ensure the longitude and direction of the blanket The axis of the drum is parallel. In the ordinary printing process due to improper operation of the operator, or the presence of foreign matter in the paper, there is often a phenomenon of bad blankets, a blanket made at least a few hundred dollars, the import price is even more expensive, a piece of imported The blanket is nearly a thousand dollars wide, so a bad blanket can damage the production cost. Extending the service life of the blanket will appropriately reduce the production cost. In production, starting from the crepe paper, the paper is fully shaken to prevent foreign matter from being trapped in the white paper. During the paper-feeding process, double-sheet or multiple-sheets must be prevented from occurring. After printing, wipe the blanket in time to restore the original appearance and maintain flexibility. This will greatly extend the life of the blanket. It not only saves costs, but also enables the production task to be completed successfully.
