Home light meal new packaging

Huhtamaki of Finland, a global leader in custom packaging, has introduced new concepts for "Eat-in-it" packaging to meet the growing demand for ready-to-eat meals and snack packaging.

This series of products are prepared for different hot and cold foods, including processed and semi-finished meats, head plates, snacks, salads or desserts. It consists of five containers, a heat sealer, a film lid and four different lids. The container is well designed and can be eaten directly on it as a tray.

The containers are available in five different sizes: 400, 750, 900, 1750 and 2000 ml. This microwave-safe, clean polypropylene container and lid enhance the shelf appeal of foods. The lids are available in a variety of shapes, including small, square, flat and arched, to suit different needs. The container can also be sealed with a film cap that is easy to tear off and is also microwave safe. The high-precision heat sealer also ensures that the container is 100% leak-proof. The easy-to-operate heat sealer is very practical: three complete container racks can be quickly and flexibly switched by simple rotary tools. The portable heat cover can be operated with one hand.

Home consumables have grown rapidly in recent decades, and eating patterns that do not require cooking are one of the trends, and as consumers’ demand for the value of their meals increases, it will continue to grow. This type of product is particularly suitable for suppliers of over-the-counter or buffet-style meals and snacks. It is also suitable for packagers and caterers who sell HMR, snacks and other light meals.
