Pre-coated metal plate pre-coating process

The pre-coating part is the core of the whole production. Usually, the two coating and two baking processes of the simultaneous and reverse coating methods are applied on both sides, that is, the primer coating, baking, coating and baking. The use of reverse roller coating method when painting, the advantage is that by adjusting the speed of the metal sheet and paint roller speed ratio, and adjust the gap between the feed roller and the coating roller, you can get different thickness of the coating. According to the different requirements of the product, it is also possible to coat one or only one surface.

The coating machine is a key equipment. It is usually composed of a coating roller, a feed roller, a backup roller, and a stock tray. The number of rollers used, the arrangement of the rollers, and the direction of rotation are roughly classified into:

Coating machine

Two-roller Co-rotating coating Reverse-rolling three-roller Linear Co-rotating coating Reverse coating "V" Coplanar coating Reverse coating

The coating machine can contact or leave the coil by the cylinder manipulation and leave when the weld passes, so as to avoid damage to the coating roller. The coating machine is placed on a special car. They are placed in a painting room and separated from the outside. The coated roller is lined with soft rubber, chrome plated on the feed roller and backup roller. The general standard is that the thickness of the topcoat is about 25 μm, the thickness of the primer is 3 to 5 μm, and the ratio of the primer to the topcoat is about 5:20. The thickness of the coating is controlled by adjusting the rollers, which is also related to the coating viscosity and coating speed. With proper formulation, the coating thickness error can be controlled within ±5%.
