【International Publication】 2004-02-05 WO2004/010851 【Abstracts】 Absorbable lactide polymer films are disclosed. The film is made of a polylactide-absorbable polymer that is manufactured to be absorbed into the body more slowly over time in order to mitigate potential side effects. The film is made to have a very thin thickness, for example, a thickness of about 0.010 mm to about 0.300 mm. The film can be extruded with a polylactide polymer having higher viscosity characteristics, can be pre-formed to have a thicker portion, and can be stored in an aseptic package.
