Use temperature of jelly for printing and packaging

1. The jelly gum used in printing and packaging is water-based. When using it, adjust the viscosity and concentration without adding water. Adjusting the viscosity with water should be a small number of times until it is suitable; too much water will not stick or It will bounce off after bonding.

2. The glue is used at (50 ~ 65) ℃. This refers to the temperature of the glue, not the temperature set by heating. The temperature displayed by some heating devices is different from the actual temperature, so a mercury or red mercury thermometer is often required to measure the temperature of the glue. Generally, the set temperature is higher than the glue use temperature (15 ~ 20) ℃.

3. If it is rubber powder, it should be soaked in cold water at room temperature for more than one hour in advance. The method is to add 1 part of powder to one part of water. Stir when adding water to make the powder fully contact the water, and there is no dead corner; then put this jelly into a heated plastic box to dissolve. Otherwise, there will be pimples.

4. The larger the amount of sizing, the better the adhesion. This should be determined according to the paper and cardboard; a reasonable sizing should be able to adhere firmly without overflowing.

5. Animal glue is different from chemical glue. If the bonded paper is too oily or too plastic, the bonding will be false. If it needs better bonding, the parts to be bonded can be corona treated to destroy the oil. , Over-plastic layer, so as to better bond.

6. When using rubber powder, you can put a small magnet at the pump suction port of the rubber box at the beginning, which can reduce iron impurities into the rubber pump.

7. Make samples before using jelly to make sure that your product is suitable for bonding with jelly (animal glue); otherwise, choose another suitable glue.
