Tiger Leaping Gorge, with the "risk" in the name of the world. The canyon is 17 kilometers long. On the south bank, the main peak of the Yulong Snow Mountain is 5596 meters above sea level. On the north bank, the snow-capped mountains in the middle Haba is 5,396 meters above sea level. The width of the middle river is only 30-60 meters. The upper gorge of the Tiger Leaping Gorge is 1,800 meters above sea level, the lower Xiakou is 1,630 meters above sea level, and the mountains and rivers on the two banks are 2,500-3,000 meters apart. Hiking reminder
Every year from June to September is the rainy season of Diqing Plateau. The Tiger Leaping Gorge is prone to mudslides and rockfalls between mountains. It is best not to go there;
Tiger Leaping Gorge is located at a high altitude, and even in August it is possible to fall a few snowflakes. Due to the Hengduan Mountains, the terrain is complex and changeable. There is a large temperature difference between day and night. It is recommended to wear a jacket, down jacket, gloves, anti-skid boots. Coupled with a dry climate and strong UV radiation, women should prepare sunscreens, sunhats and sunglasses. In particular, visits after October should bring warm clothing.

Lijiang has two trains (8:00, 8:30) daily to reach Tiger Leaping Gorge Town with a fare of 20-23 yuan. You can also take a shuttle to Shangri-La County and get off at Tiger Leaping Gorge.
Shangri-La County has several classes of shuttles to Lijiang every day. Get off at Tiger Leaping Gorge. The fare is about 20 yuan.
Car rental / chartered car from Lijiang can also be car or chartered to the Tiger Leaping Gorge, carpooling each person about 35-50 yuan, chartered vehicles depending on the price of different models between 150-300 yuan.
